Does the love of Christ reside within us and among us? Paul’s profound encounter with Christ led him to a deeper understanding of Christ’s love for him and for others, and for the world. This new life in Christ was not about seeking revenge, holding onto anger, fostering malice, embracing prejudice, oppressing others, or denying the most vulnerable of necessities. It was about embracing and living a life of love and compassion, a life that is needed now more than ever.
Let us pray that we grow in the love of God: Grant, O Lord, that we always revere and love your holy name for you never deprive of your guidance those you set firm on the foundation of your love. Amen.
