Let us pray to God who created us in God’s image: God, in whom we behold not only the image of you but the likeness of ourselves. Help us to seek you and deliver us from flippancy of the tongue and fickleness of heart. May our worship prepare us for the task you have for us. Amen.

Sunday Reflection upon Hebrews 1:1-3
The importance of Jesus Christ continues to anchor and guide Christ’s Church to this day! His teaching and example are our compass, guiding us in our journey of faith. We pray as he prayed; we imitate his life with love and compassion as much as we are able. We relate his miracles and teachings; we remember his death and celebrate his resurrection. We long for his return to establish a fair and just world, and until that happens, we will follow in his footsteps and live lives of faithfulness to God and others.
In light of the revelation of God’s love in Jesus, we, as his followers, work to make the world a better place today. The ‘perfect reflection of God’ forgives and reconciles us to God and one another despite our imperfections. This transformative love inspires us to forgive and reconcile with others to be agents of God’s love in the world. God speaks to us in Christ through the Holy Spirit and forms Christ within us and among us so that we reflect the glory of God.
