What a blessing we all received at CBS on Sunday, November 11th. There were 10 children present and 6 adults who heard the story of Jesus healing the ten lepers as told by our puppets Pink and Tigger. Following that they completed the bulletin board about thankful hearts then painted over a secret message from God.
Our next event will be a HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS party on Sunday, December 2 from 3:30-5:00 in the youth lounge.
Easter activity and egg hunt will be Palm Sunday, March 25 in Fellowship Hall from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
All children 12 and under are invited to come celebrate the coming of Easter. We look forward to a great day of fellowship, fun and learning about Jesus.
Plans include: Crafts, story time, egg hunt, and refreshments. We will have prizes and surprises.
We will meet in the fellowship hall and the egg hunt will take place rain or shine.

We were blessed to have 15 children at our December Children’s Bible Study. We had such a good time studying God’s message of Christmas with the children.
This was the first time some of the children had attended and we feel sure that it will continue to grow and become an important part of our Children’s program.
We invite you to stop by the children’s room and check out what we have been doing. Be sure and notice the bulletin board outside the door.

Our May event was an End of School Blast held in the youth lounge. 7 children were present. They had a marvelous time. Activities incuded:

We are thankful to God for working through our church to serve children in our area.
The Children’s committee would like to let you know that our Easter event was definitely a success. There were 17 children!!! YAY! The activities included the story about Jesus riding the donkey through the street on Palm Sunday, a parade with the children shouting and waving palm branches, an egg hunt, petting live bunnies, the Easter story and refreshments.
We also had lots of good help from our youth and our committee members. We would like to thank the youth for hiding the eggs, Jolene for bringing 3 of her live rabbits, and our church family for prayers and contributions. Because of all the contributions made by so many we sent the children home with plastic eggs filled with candy but also A LOT MORE!
